Bill Battles, Master Plumber, has spent his career designing and engineering state-of-the-art mechanical systems for over thirty years. He acquired his oil burner license in 1987 while attending college in Boston Massachusetts. He has traveled all over the United States and Europe attending training seminars and touring manufacturing facilities. His work has been featured in Plumbing and Mechanical and his skills were used by Weil McLain in a training video for radiant heat installation. One of his most recent design/build project achieved Leed Platinum Status, one of the highest awards for Leeds Certification. He lives on a small farm in Westport, Massachusetts with his wife where they practice organic farming, and raise organic heritage turkeys. Their property includes a wind turbine for their electrical needs, a solar thermal system for heat and hot water, and a rain storm water collection system for irrigation.
